Dr. Joelle has been my family chiropractor for approximately the last 5 or 6 years. From the first appointment, she has been engaging and friendly, making the visit comfortable and helpful. She is highly knowledgeable about the techniques and current studies, and she ensures that concepts are explained clearly.

As a student in high school she took an avid interest in both my academics and me, encouraging me towards the Sciences. After applying to the University of Alberta, Dr. Joelle supported me through this difficult change and she offered words of encouragement and optimism. Every holiday that I came home, Dr. Joelle helped realign my back and my goals. She even gave me her private number so that I would be able to get an adjustment when I came home.

I recently made the choice to go into chiropractic, and Dr. Joelle has been nothing but supportive and helpful along the way. She was willing to meet me on her own time, offering priceless advice and giving guidance about choosing schools. Dr. Joelle wrote me several reference letters that are helping me gain acceptance to chiropractic schools and she still remains involved in the process.

Dr. Joelle is a role model for every future chiropractic student and myself, as she is a successful female chiropractor, while being able to maintain a family life. I both admire and respect Dr. Joelle, and I am deeply grateful for all that she has selflessly done for me.

Dr. Joelle and her concerns and involvement with prenatal care were first brought to my attention when she brought the movie "The Business of Being Born" to Red Deer. I contacted her directly as I was not able to attend the viewing of the movie to see if I would be able to borrow it following the public viewing. Even before I met her in person, I was impressed by her loving phone manner.

Several days after first talking to Dr. Joelle, I began to have a foot go numb for no apparent reason other than my pregnancy. I immediately booked an appointment to meet Dr. Joelle in person and discuss prenatal chiropractic care.

Dr. Joelle went out of her way to be available for an appointment when I was available. I was impressed by her knowledge of prenatal chiropractic techniques and the ease with which she was able to convey the valuable information I needed.

Following my very first chiropractic adjustment, I noticed several things: firstly, my foot was no longer going numb and secondly, I was able to sleep a couple of hours at a time. (I should qualify that last statement: when I first became pregnant, I had to urinate at least every 45 minutes including at night - being my first pregnancy, I just assumed that was normal. Apparently, its not normal for the first months of pregnancy and following my adjustment with Dr. Joelle, I was finally able to sleep more than 1 hour at a time!)

I have been in Dr. Joelle's care for over four months now. The aches and pains that are a part of pregnancy have been eased by Dr. Joelle, the adjustments and her loving, caring manner. She is generous with her time, even on busy days. She has a compassionate manner that is seldom experienced when dealing with those in the medical professions. And she has a wealth of knowledge and personal experience regarding prenatal care that she loves to share.

I am truly grateful that Dr. Joelle has been a part of my prenatal experience.

Getting Regular adjustments from Dr. Joelle for my whole family has made such a huge difference in all of our lives. Personally during my pregnancy, using the Webster's Technique helped to get my baby into the best possible position to minimize discomfort in the last few weeks which also set me up for the best possible labor. Adjustments during labor helped assist my baby into the best positioning so that she would be born naturally. After giving birth, having my daughter adjusted helped to make sure breastfeeding went smoothly. I can see a difference immediately after an adjustment, she is calm and content and her bowels movements are more regular. We all can't imagine our lives without chiropractic care.
