Kirsten Dahl-Harris, R.M.T.

Kirsten

Kirsten Dahl-Harris grew up in British Columbia where she enjoyed a professional career as a groom/assistant trainer in the equine world followed by a stint in the hospitality sector which led to her passion for massage. Kirsten moved to Alberta in 2014 to attend school and graduated from Makami College with the 3,000 hour Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy program in 2016.

Kirsten's area of focus is treating patients with chronic pain and injury recovery with a special interest in athletes as well as Pre and post natal. Cause of pain can be complex and Kirsten believes in the biopsychosocial model approach approach for whole body healing. As an RMT she likes to take an orthopedic approach to find the source of the pain. Kirsten uses a variety of techniques such as Swedish massage, neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, dynamic cupping, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, joint mobilization, PNF and more to allow the body to heal itself.

When not massaging, Kirsten can be found chasing after her 3 kids, hiking, horse back riding, camping, skiing, or reading a good book.
